Né en 1964, Philippe Buil a commencé sa vie professionnelle dans l’industrie des métaux, mais après quelques années, il a eu envie de mêler ses trois principales passions : les métaux, la sculpture et l’invention. Après plusieurs mois de recherches, il a mis au point une technique unique qui lui permet de réaliser des sculptures en dentelle de métal. Ses deux matériaux de prédilection sont le Bronze et l’Acier. Il obtient cette dentelle en faisant fondre le métal au goutte à goutte, ce procédé garantit que toutes les sculptures sont des pièces uniques. Au gré de ses inspirations, il y ajoute d'autres matériaux comme le cuir, la feuille d'or 24 carats, le verre, le bois .... Ses sujets de prédilection sont les bustes, mais on peut également retrouver des animaux ou d'autres sujets au gré de ses envies
