Because now is the right time to create a true relationship between the craftsmen and the public.
Because consumers’ demand has never been higher for short circuits, for more transparency. Because it is time to promote another temporality that would invite you to touch, comprehend and tame the singular handmade pieces designed by craftsmen who master all the know-hows of their crafts and thus trigger love-at-first-sight purchases.

Ateliers d’Art de France, the professional fine craft federation and EMPREINTES make sure that the pieces are well made and commit to only sell professional craftsmen' objects that meet the cumulative criteria specific to professional craftsmen, which are the following:
- Mastering complex moves, techniques and know-hows in view to transform materials
- The pieces require an artistic input and carry the print of their craftsmen and of the workshop they come from
- All pieces are made singly or in small series
- The pieces are naturally sustainable
